Andere Räume began with a simple question:
What becomes possible when we start not with ready-made solutions, but with people, their ideas and what is already there?
Andere Räume (ARB) is a non-profit organisation working across development cooperation, education and culture.
We develop projects with people and local partners. Our aim is not to build structures that depend on us, but to create the conditions for something locally owned to grow.
Why Palestine?
Our first focus is Palestine – not because we chose a region on a map, but because personal connections, long-standing relationships and trust are already there.
Our first projects have grown from those relationships, together with people and organisations on the ground.
Andere Räume is not defined by one region. What matters most to us is how we work, rather than where.
